Immigration New Zealand does not accept applications from potential sponsor groups at this point. 151 refugee places in the Community Refugee Sponsorship extended pilot programme have been allocated to Approved Sponsor groups over the three-year extended pilot between July 2021 and June 2024.

​There were 151 people who arrived in New Zealand over the trial period, but an extra 51 people were in the pipeline as at 30 June 2024. These will be able to come through the programme during the 2024/25 financial year. No additional places are available at this time.
